The “Original California Soul” band the Mother Hips are holding court for 2 nights at the Great American Music Hall, presenting a diverse pair of shows capped off with what is being dubbed the Ultimate Setlist. Tim Bluhm and cohorts have been crushing the West Coast rock circuit for over 20 years, growing from a Chico bar band to bonafide local royalty. Friday night’s show will be more traditional with San Diego band The Donkeys opening the night, followed by the Hips.
The Ultimate Setlist, presented on Saturday the 21st, will be a full show curated by fans as they submit their dream song list to the band. Voting has since ceased, but the choice of setlists which were voted on can be found here. Saturday’s performance is sold out, so this is one of your last chances to get in the door.
