Simon Posford is one trippy fellow. If the music he produces under the moniker Shpongle does not scramble your headspace, his visually striking production will. Shpongletron 3.0 entranced the crowd at the Regency Ballroom with mesmerizing visuals. Simon’s psychedelic take on world music is complemented perfectly by visual artist Zebbler’s pupil dilating talents. Shpongle’s production may be the closest one can come to a hallucinogenic trip without the actual consumption of substances. These photos are hardly a replacement for the actual experience, but will certainly give you an idea of what a night with Shpongle looks like. Enjoy.
