Touring on 2013’s Baba Yaga, almost every song played pays off by transforming into a Neil Young-like slow burning jam, webbing and flowing in intensity thanks to layered, steel pedal-tinged guitar goodness. Futurebird’s music is rooted in alternative country, yet it pleasantly sound-shifts into psych-rock territory. Get on this show for a laid back, Southern-swaying evening.
