The Mezzanine and EyeHeartSF present a Fourth of July installment of #FUTUREFRIDAYS this week with Kill Paris! The Florida-bred “Future Funk” ambassador brought his classical training in guitar with him to Nashville, Tenn., as a country producer, only to eventually be wooed by the dance music scene to his current residence of Los Angeles. It was in LA where he began to gain traction as an electronic music entity via the online communities of Dubstep.Net and ThisSongIsSick.com amongst other EDM blog sites.

Spending the majority of 2012 and 2013 touring venues and festivals nationwide, Kill Paris released a nine-track EP on dubstep juggernaut Skrillex’s record label OWSLA, remixed and individually released tracks by Nelly Furtado, No Doubt and Rudimental, and charted No. 1 on both Beatport’s Top 100 GlitchHop tracks as well as their Top 100 overall tracks for all genres. Supported this Friday by Tech Minds, TastyTreat and a Hosted Yacht Club Vodka bar from 9-10 p.m., what better way to get patriotic this holiday? ‘Murica!

A perfect balance of old and new.
