Alternative Tentacles is celebrating their 33 and 1/3 years anniversary, and you have the chance to join the party for free. Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine will serve as this odd ball’s headliner, along with some hand-selected support from Jello’s label. The former Dead Kennedy’s frontman is still kicking out the jams and has been feverishly touring this crazy world stirring the pot and making controversy in his wake.
This is not just your average night of political-stained punk anthems, as the psychobilly legend Mojo Nixon will be bucking retirement once again to grace the Slim’s stage with Jello. Prairie Home Invasion was regarded as a cowpunk, satirical masterpiece, and was rarely performed on stage, making this one unique evening. Death Hymn #9 and Pins of Light will be supporting this whole wild evening, and is a must-see event for any fan of punk rock and it’s outlying styles.
