Portola Music Festival //
Pier 80 – San Francisco
September 26th-27th, 2026 //
Portola party people … can you dig it?!?!
What we are about to say might be hard to believe, but after making its debut back in 2021, your favorite two-day Bay Area music festival is celebrating five years this September.
And after the fourth edition saw LCD Soundsystem, Christina Aguilera, Dom Dolla, Peggy Gou, The Chemical Brothers (DJ set) and Moby (Live) lead the pack at SF’s Pier 80 with Anti Up (Chris Lake x Chris Lorenzo), The Prodigy, MAU P and Underworld on the undercard (read our festival review here), Goldenvoice has put together another strong lineup that once again leans heavily electronic but also touches upon a few other genres like pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B, funk and soul.
Portola’s fifth installment will follow a similar sonic formula since its earliest years. Robyn and Swedish House Mafia have landed roles as the event’s two headliners, while Dog Blood’s appearance will mark Skrillex’s and Boys Noize’s first joint performance together in seven years. And of course there’s Tiësto (in the warehouse), Zara Larsson and Four Tet all on Day 2, which should draw big crowds to the City’s largest cargo terminal.
Other acts on the 2026 roster that are worth shining a light on here include Fatboy Slim, Soulwax, Parcels, Prospa, Kettama, Skepta, Tove Lo, Mochakk, Fcukers, Max Styler, Overmono, Mike D 5D (featuring Mike D of Beastie Boys), Marlon Hoffstadt, horsegiirL, Groove Armada, Tricky, SG Lewis (Live), Underscores, Ninajirachi, DJ Shadow (celebrating the 30th anniversary of his 1996 debut LP Endtroducing…..), Kelela, Daphni, Bassvictim, Channel Tres, Melanie C (DJ set), ADÉLA, ear, Gelli Haha and Mind Enterprises. Plus, there will be Despacio all weekend long for those of you who just can’t get enough of the custom-built, 50,000-watt audiophile sound system that James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem), brothers David and Stephen Dewaele (2manydjs/Soulwax), and audio engineer John Klett designed more than a decade ago. See more details above to find out who else is performing.
Portola passes will first be available via a loyalty pre-sale for previous attendees starting this Monday, June 1st at 12 p.m. PT, but you must register here before the general public begins Tuesday, June 2nd at 12 p.m. PT.
